To anyone else, she may have been just a chicken, but to me, she was my snuggle bunny of love! She was a Blue Bantam Silkie chicken who lived with us inside the house and the only chicken I ever had that wanted to be picked up and snuggled. She knew her name and came running when called. When having a bad day I could always come home and know she was there to comfort me, she always knew how I was feeling and would coo softly to calm me. My world will never be the same without her in it…she definitely took a part of me with her when she left this world!
