My dearest friend “Lefty,”
From the first day you were brought home to be a part of our family, you were young and full of energy. Being my first cat, I had a great deal to learn about you. As our time together grew, our love for one another grew also. I called you “little brother” because you were like another little brother to me. You brought me peace and happiness when times were tough. Whether I was eating, watching TV, or taking a nap, you were always by my side.
It’s hard for me to put into words the emptiness I have in my heart without you here. I learned that no matter how I was feeling, you always lifted me up and made me smile. For over 18 years, we built a strong bond together and you showed me the true meaning of unconditional love.
I prayed for your health and well being every day, and on November 5, 2020, the Lord brought you back home with him. I know you are now with your beautiful Rottweiler brother, Mr. Luther, and our other family members. I know your eyesight is clear now and that all of your ailments are gone. Even though you’re not here, your memory and spirit are with me every day. I always loved you “little brother” and I always will. We will see each other again my friend, I promise.
I’m very grateful and thankful to Ellen for bringing Lefty into my life. I want to say thank you to Connie Canode and Vets to Cats for all of the love and care you showed Lefty. I also want to thank Oakey’s for providing superior service with my first furry friend, “Lefty.”
