I sure will miss my daily rides with Ray. He always woke Daddy up looking to go for his ride. I even named our one car, “Ray’s Ride,” because he sat next to me in the passenger seat and was my copilot. He also had a sweet tooth like me. I always love to eat Twinkies and Ding Dongs and ice cream and guess who always got something, my boy Ray Ray did. I sure do miss him and love him and can’t wait to see him on the other side of the rainbow bridge. ’Til we meet again buddy. Run free and free of pain forever now.
Love,
Dad
Ray was definitely a one-of-a-kind personality all his own and definitely an old soul. He was my best friend and someone that held all my secrets. When I had a bad day, I could always count on him to meet me at the door, tail wagging and a toy in hand for me to have. He loved laying on the deck in the sun or guarding his family while they were out for pool time in the backyard. He’d watch and work on his tan. He was definitely our protector, our angel on earth but most of all my best friend. He is missed more than he’ll ever know. Love you Bubby!
My fondest “Ray” memory was Ray defending his Mom in his first dog fight, covered in blood sweat and mud. He fought until we were both truly safe (thankfully with no broken bones or major injuries). Ray was a Mama’s boy at heart. He knew that no matter what food was around, if mom had some it was eventually his! I will continue to end my day with the words, “I love you Ray — always and forever my baby, you’ll be.” Until we meet again Buddy.
RIP,
Mom
