History

At Oakey’s Pet Funeral Home & Crematory, we know how special your pets are to you and your family. The Oakey’s Family, a trusted name in the human side of funeral service in the valley for over 150 years, is passionate about their own pets and understand the strong bonds between you and your pets. Therefore, in 2009 we opened Oakey’ Pet Funeral Home & Crematory because we wanted to provide pet parents like you, an opportunity to ease the pain of saying goodbye to a very special part of your life, one who has provided friendship, unconditional love and memories to last a lifetime. Our goal is to treat your pet the way we would treat any family member we serve – with respect and dignity – and with the level of care that families have come to expect from Oakey’s.

Let us know how we can help.

Tigger Oakey

“Oakey's Pet Funeral Home has helped me through the passing

of three of my beloved fur babies. Although the passings occurred under different circumstances over the last 6 years, the staff has always provided a level of service I can't even begin to describe. Most recently, I had made prearrangement for my childhood Shih Tzu, Gizmo. Even though I now live out of state and Gizmo remained in the care of my parents, that did not matter. When his time unexpectedly came, there was no hesitation by the staff of Oakey's. They drove to my mother's home in Franklin County at 11:00 at night, retrieved my buddy, and took great care of him. I've never once been pressured into purchasing an urn or any other items unless I was ready. We love our pets and they are part of our families; Oakey's makes them part of their family when their times come. Thank you all, from the bottom of my heart, for all you do."

With love and deepest gratitude,
