In Loving Memory

Piper Criser

From the day Piper met Mary and Richard Criser in Grafton WV, she was always smiling! On her first car ride to Hot Springs she climbed right in and enjoyed her newfound rescue family.

She quickly adjusted to her new home and found a love of all blankets and even decided to spend extra time with her family by mastering the stairs and refusing to sleep anywhere but their bedroom. Over the years Piper discovered how much she liked to play dress up and loved her costumes and coats.

Car rides were always a favorite and exploring new places such as taking long walks at the beach and visiting several beaches. Her favorite walk was with Richard, visiting the local golf course. It was one of her daily good-weather favorites. She loved snow but hated rain.

Piper will always be known as the smiling dog who loved Pupperoni and once got mad when her pawrents ran out. She also knew her treat jar and how to go to school practicing all her tricks after her walks waiting for snacks. Spending time upside down and waiting for belly rubs was equally as important as her favorite treats, anytime you glanced in her direction there was tail wagging and rolling over for belly rubs.

Piper was an amazing family member who was kind and lovable. While she will be missed greatly, we are thankful that she picked us to be her family.
