One of the most perfect souls to ever grace this planet with his presence. Hawthorne was born to be ours; we went to look at the litter, interested in a different puppy, but he spoke up, very loudly, that he would be coming home with us soon, not his brother.
He was instantly a wonderful little brother to Ace, became the best big brother to Chonkey, Ellie, and Aela, and was a big support for Littlefoot when he came to be with the pack.
Hawthorne filled holes in people that no one knew existed. He greeted everyone and everything with courage and happiness.
He crossed the beautiful rainbow bridge to be with Jesus and play with our babies, to keep them busy and happy, surrounded by his best pack mates, and resting peacefully.
Until we meet again, play hard, Hawthorne; we will always love you, to infinity squared!
