Baby Dixon

2009 – 2025
It is with the deepest sadness, that I have to announce the passing of my best friend, soul mate, and doggy daughter, Baby (Babygirl). Left to cherish her memory are her human sisters, Bethany, Kayla and Anibeth. Best friends, Moxley, Bud, Stevie and Juno. Special close friends, Alena, Angie, Devin and Russell. Doggy Grandparents, Michael and Myra Belcher of Beckley WV. Doggy Aunt Shannon and Uncle Doug, and doggy cousins Jonathon and Joshua Shrewsberry of Morgantown, WV.

To anyone else, she was just a dog, but to us, she was absolutely everything. From the pitter-patter of her little nails hitting the floor as soon as a door opened to her feisty growl to let others know she is the boss. Always up for a good head scratch and a kiss directly in the mouth. She was an excellent listener, always available to keep anyone company who needed to feel loved. If you were sitting down, that was an invitation for her to come sit with you.

There are no words to describe the bond between a human and her dog. There will be an empty spot in the bed, couch, vehicle, and my lap but she will forever have a place in my heart. We needed her more than she ever needed us.

Babygirl enjoyed sunbathing, watching parades, car rides, French fries, pup cups and beef jerky. She spent most of her time not only being the center of attention, but also being curled up in a nice warm ball under the covers.

Thank you for a lifetime of hugs and kisses. If love could have saved you, you would have lived forever. There will be no more pain and plenty of sunshine where you are going. Rest in Peace, sweet girl. We will see you on the other side. SBKA
