Colton, we remember the first time we saw you, you were in the pet shop and you were too big for your kennel they had you in, you could barely walk. Dennie and I asked to see you and that was it — your love, kisses and snuggles. There was no way you were going back into that kennel, so we took you home with us. Our friend Lisa taught you how to walk. You loved her so. You showed it in all the kisses and snuggles you gave to her.
Over the years, you gave and gave such joy and happiness. We do not know where we would be without you, for you saw us through many of the dark times, always with love, kisses and snuggles.
Now, let us get your kisses right, you would only give a little lick on our forehead. If we asked you for a kiss, you gave just a simple little lick. They were all golden, each and every one of them.
When Willie passed, there is no way we could have made it through without you because you were there to comfort and love us in the way we needed. Now I hope the two of you are running together and reunited again. You are our babies.
You will never be forgotten because you gave unlimited love to us no matter what. Yes, we are sad and cry, but we also know you are free and you and Willie are running the fields together. We thank you for all the love and compassion you gave over your 13 1/2 years.
For life, it is a gift to give. You gave the ultimate gift, your whole life to us.
Love,
Your daddies, Teddie and Dennie
