Our sweet boy, Gryffin, was the last of three siblings, along with their Momma cat, who were found as kittens in the woods behind our house. They quickly became part of our family and brought us so much joy, love, and light during a sad time in our lives.
Gryffin was such a sweet and gentle boy. One of his favorite things was cuddling with his best friend and littermate, Ellie, who passed in 2023. They shared such a special bond and it brings us some comfort to think of the two of them together again.
He also loved his doggy siblings and could often be found grooming them or just sitting beside them, enjoying the sunshine. Gryffin could be shy but he also loved anyone willing to give him some good neck scratches. He was a constant purring machine and most days you could find him tucked away sleeping in one of his favorite hiding spots.
And then there were the little things that were just so Gryffin. For some reason, he really disliked when we wore shoes around him. We never figured out why, but it was one of those funny little quirks that made him our boy.
What a wonderful kitty he was and how lucky we were to love him. Our home won’t be quite the same without his sweet face, his purrs, and his quiet presence.
We will love and miss you always.
