Maria was born on August 3, 2009. She was the luckiest of girls as she had two families that loved and adored her. Maria loved warm summer days soaking up the sun, car rides with the windows down, pup cups, tug-o-war with her big fur sister Karma, naps on the couch, sleeping in the human bed, and walks on cold nights with her senior brother Jasper. She got to experience birthday parties and birthday cakes, Halloween costumes, and photos with Santa and the Easter Bunny. She loved to do zoomies at night after her bedtime potty break. She enjoyed the taste of every food her humans consumed because, after all, they must experience everything life has to offer as their lives are too short. And near the end, she had managed to worm her way into the heart of her big grumpy fur brother Ace. She was the best girl a person could have and was loved by many. Our hearts are broken but we are forever grateful her first family chose us to love her until the end.
