Max Dunnagan

Our sweet Max crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday, October 13 after a short illness. Max joined our family 15 years ago after being rescued from an abusive owner and she immediately stole our hearts. She was quite the wild child in her younger years. She loved to have visitors and she would race around and around in her excitement. We never feared a break-in because of Max. In fact, she would bark like mad at everything outside — the mailman, walkers, our sweet neighbor. One time, she even alerted the police to a runaway burglar trying to hide in the woods near our house. She became somewhat of a surrogate mother to her two younger brother and sister puppies and would scold them if they were out of line. Her favorite things in the world were her family, treats and stolen articles of clothing from her mom. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
