Miss Pixie,
Miss Pixie came to our family in November 2024 after her original momma suddenly passed away. This sweet multi-toed spicy kitty was the best thing that has happened to us. Although the last 18 months were rough with severe IBD bouts, she still loved to be loved through all the pain. Unfortunately, due to all the medication, she developed diabetes and hypothyroidism. She loved to curl up and wrap her paws around my neck and for whatever weird reason, she would nibble on my nose… well, gum my nose because Miss Pixie only had a few teeffers left. She slept between my husband and me religiously every night and woke us up with trills and long-drawn-out meows. No one with thumbs was a stranger to her and she sought out laps and pets. She surely attached herself to me and followed me around to ensure daily tasks were up to her standards.
Although this beautiful girl had to leave us, I feel blessed to have had her for 18 months. She helped me through some tough times. I don’t know how I will sleep without her overtaking my pillow, but I am happy knowing she is back home with her original momma and pain-free. Love you, sweet girl.
