In Loving Memory

Pork Chop Overstreet

Pork Chop — The One Who Started It All 🐷❤️

Over a decade ago, our homestead started with one pig.

His name was Pork Chop.

We didn’t know then what that one little pig would start. Over the years, our family grew to include chickens, ducks, bunnies, mini pigs, and more animals than we probably ever planned. Eventually, our little homestead even got a name: Oinkin Acres.

And it all started with him.

Pork Chop was never “just a pig.” For more than a decade, he was part of our family and part of the story of this place. He watched our homestead grow around him and somehow remained right at the heart of it.

He was stubborn, spoiled, funny, and deeply loved. He enjoyed his snacks, his naps, and doing pretty much whatever Pork Chop wanted to do. He gave us more than ten years of memories that we’ll carry long after his little hoofprints are gone.

Losing him feels like losing a piece of the beginning.

Oinkin Acres may be full of animals today, but there will only ever be one Pork Chop—the pig who started it all.

Oinkin Acres wouldn’t exist without you.

Rest easy, old man. ❤️🐷
