October, 2009 – August 29, 2023

Our sweet boy R.J., crossed the Rainbow Bridge at home in the early morning hours of August 29th. At only 3 weeks old he was found on the side of the road in South Carolina and was bottle-fed by his “Daddy.” When taken to see the vet, he was declared a purebred Blue Healer! R.J. enjoyed running deer in Fishburn Park with his doggie siblings, Chloe and Acey! He loved playing and jumping in the snow and just hanging out with his “Daddy” in the garage, working on the hot rod. Trips to the beach, riding in the Jeep on the ferry boat to Ocracoke Island and many more adventures were had. Being such a good boy, he is deeply missed and cherished by his Daddy and Mommy, Paul and Debbie Monasky and his favorite Uncle Austin. Special thanks to Miss Libby at the Roanoke Weiner Stand, Brandon location, for the love and weiners you gave R.J. and to the staff at Oakey’s Pet Funeral Home and Crematory for your kindness and understanding.
