Bruce, I know your first 24 hours in pet heaven have been amazing. I trust that you’re with everyone else and you’re all together. All together in your restored, happy and healthy bodies. I can’t imagine a world where such a reward isn’t given to inherently pure, innocent animals capable of giving such unconditional love. Please tell everyone I said hello, that I still think about them every day and I love them.

Bruce, thank you so much for the time we had together. Although it was short, it was such a privilege to love and care for you. You were such a lovebug who just needed someone to give you a chance and your own space. Taking a chance on you was an incredibly good decision. You saved me just as much as I saved you.

I can still feel your soft fur and today I swear I saw you in the corner of my eye, sitting in the window where you liked to look out. I know your energy and spirit are still around me and will always be. You will always be in my mind and heart.

Thank you for feeling safe and comfortable around me. I’m glad I was with you when the time came. I will always love you and keep your memory alive, Bruce.
