Our beloved Chanel passed away on June 4, 2025. I got her from the RVSPCA, in which I knew she was my dog. She was the first pitbull I ever had. She taught us many things about her breed. She was loyal and loving to her family pack. Her breed is misunderstood! It’s the humans that make a dangerous dog, not the breed. She was a protective soul with her family. She had a funny and wonderful soul. She loved her toys when she was younger and she loved to sleep in the bed with us. When she went outside, she would always sneak a roll down the hill on her back but we could never get a picture or video of her doing that, as she would catch us and immediately get up and look at us like, “I wasn’t doing anything.” It made us laugh because we knew that she didn’t want to be caught having some fun by herself. Chanel would sit up on the hill of our backyard and watch everything happening in the neighborhood, she didn’t miss much. We called her the Queen of the Hill. One thing you could always count on with Chanel, she loved to ride in the SUV or truck. All we had to say was “Wanna go for a ride?” Boom, she was out the door and sitting shotgun. She loved ridin!
I will never forget my Chanel! One of a kind soul! Chanel Ripley has definitely put her paw prints on our souls! With all our love! You will be missed so much!
